“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”Games and sports play an important role in students' lives, fostering physical development alongside intellectual growth. They instill qualities of cooperation, teamwork, and perseverance, helping students face life’s challenges. Our school actively participates in various Zonal, State, and National-level tournaments, achieving remarkable success.
Cricket Achievements
- Our school's cricket team participated in the Council’s National Sports & Games cricket tournament in 2019, securing the following positions:
- Zonal Level: 1st Position (2nd August 2019, St. Francis School, Amritsar)
- Regional Level: 2nd Position (11th-12th August 2019, Kaler International School, Moga)
- National Level: Harjinder Singh (Class X) and Kanav Sharma (Class IX) secured 2nd position in the National Cricket Tournament (21st-24th October 2019, Hyderabad).
- Harjinder Singh (Class X) was selected by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) for the National Cricket Tournament.
Basketball Achievements
- Our school’s Boys & Girls Basketball Teams participated in the Sports and Culture Punjab State Championship 2019 at Shri Guru Harkrishan International School (26th April 2019), securing 2nd position.
- The Girls team participated in the Council’s National Sports & Games Basketball Tournament 2019 at different levels:
- Zonal Level: 3rd Position (11th May 2019, St. Joseph’s Convent, Fatehpur)
- State Level:
- Under-17 category: 1st Position
- Under-14 category: 2nd Position
- National Level:
- Shinedeep Sandhu (Class X) and Parneet Sandhu (Class IX) represented the school.
- (24th-27th September 2019, Vikasa School, Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu)
- The team also participated in the Zonal Level Basketball Tournament organized by the Govt. Sports Department (14th-15th August, Company Bagh, Amritsar), securing 3rd position.
Chess Achievements
- Students from Class VI to X participated in the Chess Competition held in school (31st October 2019).
- Keshav Sharma (Class X) and Harshit Sharma (Class VI) secured 1st position.
