St. Joseph’s Convent School, Khasa is a catholic school, owned, established and administered by Diocese of Jalandhar, registered religious and charitable society”, a Christian minority undertaking. This school is primarily established for Christian minority children; however other children are admitted as per the availability of seats or on merit. This is an English medium School under the ICSE syllabus, New Delhi.

Diocese Board of Education

It was established in 2000 by the Diocese of Jalandhar under the patronage guidance of Lt. Rt. Rev. Dr.Symphorian Keeparth, the first Bishop of Jalandhar and through the sustained effort and hard work of Rev. Fr. Xavier Thazhathuveettil. Most Rev. Dr. Franco Mulakkal, the present Bishop of the Diocese of Jalandhar is the patron of the school.

Missionaries of Jesus

St. Joseph’s Convent School, Khasa is locally administered by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Missionaries of Jesus under the guidance and direction of a Managing Director appointed by the President of the Diocese of Jalandhar. The Religious Sisters who are serving in various Christian institutions in Punjab and elsewhere are people who are voluntarily vowed to God to lead a holy and dedicated life of selfless service to their fellow human beings. In order to surrender themselves totally to the love of God and service of humanity they renounce family life and live in religious communities known as convents, a home of prayer and serenity. The school management is committed to the cause of education as a mission of Christ, the Divine Teacher.
